Local celebrities took to the stage last week for the Strongbow ULTRA G.O.A.T Debate Society event to decide the greatest artists of all time.
Birmingham’s own rapper Lady Leshurr, the Circle’s Manrika Khaira and RuPaul’s Drag Race star Baga Chipz were among the competitors who battled it out in an epic series of debates.

Hide AdDebaters took to the floor in pairs to pit their wits against each other in a series of quick-fire rounds, with Baga Chipz debating who the better drag queen is against fellow RuPaul contestant Crystal, while Lady Leshurr argued Nicki Minaj was the G.O.A.T over Manrika’s Beyonce.
The event came as Strongbow marked the launch of the new Strongbow ULTRA Dark Fruit - a self-proclaimed G.O.A.T cider.
Hosted by Alice Levine, the live stage show was performed in front of a 300-person audience who were tasked with making the deciding votes on which celebrity argued their side best.
To cast their vote, audience members had to raise a can of Strongbow ULTRA into the air.

Hide AdRapper and singer-songwriter Lady Leshurr, real name Melesha Katrina O’Garro, came out on top after putting up a fearful fight for Nicki Minaj in the greatest female artist debate.
The Kingshurst-born rapper tipped the odds in her favour after an impassioned speech regarding the Starships artist, which Alice Levine claimed as a love letter to the singer.
Lady Leshurr said: “Nicki Minaj doesn’t get the respect she deserves but she puts herself out there and gives back to her fans. She’s real and that’s why I can relate to her. She’s so lit!”
In another round, Baga Chipz missed out on the greatest of all time status she was battling for.

HEINEKEN UK Cider Brand Director, Rachel Holms was sat in the front row for the debates.
She said: “This G.O.A.T campaign is for a new kind of cider and by far one of our most intriguing yet.
“Our celebrity cast did us proud in settling the debate once and for all. We already know Strongbow ULTRA is the G.O.A.T cider, but now we know who’s the G.O.A.T of everything else too.”
