Legendary rockers Iron Maiden will return to the UK and Ireland this week for the Run For Your Lives World Tour – here’s everything you need to know.

The Run for Your Lives World Tour, which got underway at the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena in Hungary on May 27th, marks the band’s first tour in over four decades without drummer Nicko McBrain, who announced his retirement from live performances last year, with his last performance with the band coming at Sao Paolo’s Allianz Parque on December 7th.

Following the announcement of the tour in September, frontman Bruce Dickinson vowed to deliver fans “a once-in-a-lifetime live experience” and later promised “a setlist for the ages” with the setlist curated from tracks from the band’s first nine studio albums, from the band’s debut record ‘Iron Maiden’ in 1980 to ‘Fear of the Dark’ in 1992.

The UK leg of the tour will also bring with it Maiden’s biggest headlining show to date with a performance at the 80,000-capacity London Stadium – home of bassist Steve Harris’ beloved West Ham United.

Ahead of the tour kicking off at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on June 21st, we’ve put together a list of everything you need to know ahead of time.

Who will be supporting Iron Maiden?

For the band’s performances in Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow, Iron Maiden will be solely joined by heavy metal band The Raven Age, who previously toured with the six-piece during their The Book of Souls World Tour in 2016 and have previously toured with Killswitch Engage, Anthrax and Tremonti.

For the performances at London Stadium and Malahide Castle in London and Dublin, Iron Maiden and The Raven Age will also be accompanied by Pennsylvania rockers Halestorm, who will embark on their own tour across the UK in November with dates in Cardiff, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London following the release of their sixth studio album ‘Everest’ in August.
