Insomnia Gaming Festival returns to NEC in Birmingham this spring, bringing four days of all things video gaming to 100,000 fans. The UK’s longest running games festival, Insomnia brings their LAN party along with tournaments, the newest games and meet and greets from all corners of pop culture.

This year, the festival will feature even more exhibitors, brands and games than ever before. And for those in a competitive mood, a brand new VALORANT tournament will be held featuring a prize fund of £10,000 at their latest event i70.

The tournament will host an online qualifier before the festival, where two teams will qualify directly for the knockout phase. The later stages of the tournament will be hosted at the Esports Stage at i70 for everyone to watch.

Matt MacDonald, Esports Manager at Player1 Events, said “We’re delighted to be bringing yet another premiere esports event to iSeries. The VALORANT iSeries Challenge will give budding VALORANT pros the opportunity to showcase their skills on the big stage, with a fantastic prize pool to reward strong performances. We’re excited to see players compete and can’t wait to see which teams make it to the big stage at i70!”
