The Great Birmingham Run 2023 is racing towards us now, and participants will be coming to the end of their training routines. Thousands of runners have signed up, but it’s not too late for you to join them.

Registration to the Great Birmingham Run 2023, which takes place on Sunday May 7, is still open. This includes participation in both the half marathon or 10k event.

The event isn’t just for adults and seasoned runners either. Junior events are available which children aged all the way from three to 15 years old can get involved with.

The half marathon and 10k events get underway at 9.30am. The junior race, which is for children aged nine to 15 and is 2.5km in length, starts at 8.45am.

A mini race of 1.5km will also be held for children aged between three and eight-years-old. Places on all of these can be booked through the official Great Birmingham Run website.

  • Half marathon- £39 plus £2 booking fee
  • 10k- £31 plus £2 booking fee
  • Junior (9-15 years old)- £14
  • Mini (3-8 years old)- £14
