One of the hottest music festivals in the West Midlands is set to return this year in the neighbouring city of Coventry.
The first wave of acts and early bird ticket information has been released by festival organisers, and it looks set to be bigger than ever.
Here’s what we know so far about the festival, including who has been announced so far and how to get your hands on tickets.
When is Godiva Festival 2022?
The festival takes place once again at Coventry’s War Memorial Park.
The three day festival will see acts performing in the park from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 September 2022.
Which acts have been announced?
The first wave of acts performing at this year’s Godiva Festival have been announced, including headliners for all three of the days.
One of the original Indie alternative rock bands The Libertines will top the bill on Friday 2 September, with singer-songwriter Tom Grennan headlining on 3 September.
Away from the Main Stage on the Saturday, the second stage will see the return of Reflection presents Daylight Robbery.
Reflection, who put on the immensely popular ‘House is a Feeling’ show last year, will be putting on a show celebrating Coventry’s dance and drum and bass heritage.
That show will be headlined by a bass heavy performance from Australian dance superstar LUUDE.
LUUDE will be joined by Coventry Icon Jeff ‘Man’ Parris and Drum and Bass star Georgie Riot.
On Sunday, Bananarama will be performing their catalogue of pop mega hits when they headline the Main Stage.
They’ll be joined by award winning rock band The Feeling in addition to Craig Charles who’ll be bringing some soulful groove to the festival with his Funk and Soul Club.
With plenty of acts still to be announced, festival organisers are encouraging people to keep an eye on their website for further announcements.
