Free Radio Hits Live will be back at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham in 2023 after a successful run this Saturday (November 12). Just a day after the 2022 edition of the show, Free Radio announced the show will return and a limited amount of early bird tickets are already available.

This year’s edition featured big pop names such as Blue, Nathan Dawe and Dermot Kennedy taking on a sold-out crowd of 15,000 music lovers. Headliner Lewis Capaldi delighted the audience performing in a Mr Egg t-shirt from the local Birmingham cafe and Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder performed his smash hit Space Man in a Freddie Mercury style singalong with the crowd.

One of the big names, Ellie Goulding, revealed during her set that fellow performer Craig David played at her wedding, saying: “He was my first ever concert here at the NEC [before it became Resorts World Arena] and then he performed at my wedding. It’s such a full circle thing! It was the main talking point at my wedding - I still have people texting me about it now.”

The Love Me Like You Do singer also spoke about being a musician and a mother, saying: ”I take [my son] with me as much as possible but he’s still young so it’s quite disruptive for him. So I try and do what I can and I Facetime him constantly - thank God for technology - and I look forward to when he can be here, watching me on stage.”

No names have been announced yet for the 2023 edition - but if it’s anything like this year, you can expect the best. Free Radio Hits Live returns to Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on Friday November 24, 2023.
