Aldo Zilli partners with Lucarelli in the Mailbox to bring new dining concepts to Birmingham
Any foodies out there will be excited to hear that Sash Restaurant Group, who own both Lucarelli restaurants in the Mailbox and West Bromwich, have just announced that award winning celebrity chef Aldo Zilli is set to get on board as their resident Chef Consultant.

Bat Out Of Hell at The Alexandra theatre
Award winning musical Bat Out Of Hell, which brings to life the anthems of Jim Steinman and Meat Load, is currently playing over at the Alexandra Theatre. The show welcomes its audience to join Strat, the leader of a rebellious gang called ‘The Lost’, as he falls in love with Raven, the beautiful daughter of the tyrannical ruler of Obsidian.
The show includes iconic hits such as “I’d Do Anything For Love” and “Bat Out Of Hell” throughout its over the top theatrical spectacle, so is a must see for fans. For more information head over to the the Alexandra theatre website.
Vegenuary special at Isaac’s Restaurant at The Grand
As over 580,000 people across the UK have pledged to cut out animal products in their diet this month, Isaac’s Restaurant over on Berwick Street will too be indulging in Veganuary by launching a new menu which puts a plant based twist on a few American classics. Specials included the Roasted Butternut Mac & Cheese, Isaac’s Dirty Dog, Korean Spicy Fried ‘Chicken’, The Sweet Potato Poutine and to top it all off with dessert - the Chocolate Doughnuts with Vanilla Cream & Pretzel. Over at the Night Owl in Digbeth this Saturday, ‘A Tribute to The King’, celebrating the music of Elvis Presley, will be taking place two days before Elvis’ birthday. Legendary tribute act Black Elvis will be performing, alongside DJ’s who will be playing an eclectic mix of Rock n Roll plus a range of 50s and 60s tunes. Doors will be opening at 8pm.
