Goldilocks and the Three Bears panto at Birmingham Hippodrome

Goldilocks and the Three Bears is still playing over at the Hippodrome. Running to the 30th January, the pantomime will be playing with a circus theme this year, offering riotous comedy, extraordinary special effects, and the return of much loved panto favourite Matt Slack. Sleeping Beauty at Cadbury World

Over at Cadbury World in Bournville, performances of Sleeping Beauty will be taking place ten times for day between the 27th and the 30th of December.

The 15 minute minute long production will offer plenty of opportunities for visitors to join in with their chorus of boos and cheers, as they discover whether Princess Aurora will be saved from the Evil Queen, with a little help from Silly Billy and Prince Charming!

The excitement takes place along the self-guided tour that Cadbury World is known for - where families can see the talented chocolatiers in action, and well as get involved with a large range of interactive features. For more information visit the Cadbury World website.

Comedy at Rosies on Broad Street on Boxing Day

For any comedy fans out there, looking for something to do on Boxing Day, Rosies on Broad Street will be hosting the UK’s Urban No.1 Real Deal Comedy Jam. The event is hosted by UK Comedy legend Rudi Lockwood and includes acts from the likes of Marlon Davis, Axel Blake, Smash Entertainz and Junior Booker. Doors open at 6pm and more information is available on Rosies website.

Those looking to make their body groove on Boxing Day are in for a little bit of luck- Brunch’n UK Garage returns with its series of massive events taking place across three cities at the same time.

Birmingham’s event will be happening over at the Birmingham Bierkeller on Essex Street from 4pm. The evening itself will feature a whole range of sound from UKG, Bass, Speed Garage and a ton of 90s classics for anyone wanting to revel in Nostaglia.
