Easter will be on April 9 this year and there’s much to be done in Birmingham to entertain adults and children alike. Whether you go hunting for Easter eggs, decorate them or just grab a good meal - there is much to do with family on this long holiday from April 7 to April 10.
Children will have a break from school from April 1 to April 16 giving families time to spend with each other, and also go on vacations. However, if you are going to be in Birmingham, there are some things that are not to be missed.
From visiting animal farms, to meet the Easter Bunny at multiple locations, including Cadbury World, and just being out and about exploring - there is much to do!

1. Meet the Easter Bunny at Cadbury World, Bournville
Join Mr Cadbury’s Parrot while he goes on an adventure to find the golden egg in his brand new live show. You can expect plenty of jokes, sea shanties and bucket loads of family fun.
On the Bank Holiday Weekend, apart from the stage show, there will be a special visit from the Easter Bunny who will lay out an Easter egg trail with a special prize at the end. Children are encouraged to showcase their artistic skills by arriving in their own Easter Bonnet. Visitors of all ages can meet and greet the iconic Cadbury Characters throughout the day.

2. Easter at West Midlands Safari Park, Bewdley
There are a number of things happening at the Safari Park. You can join Bramble Bunny’s Birthday Bash. He is the resident Easter bunny and will be hosting his own celebrations for the Park’s 50th birthday. You can meet and greet the Bramble Bunny, join the Easter egg rail that has a chocolatey prize at the end, and enter competitions as well. The Easter celebrations will go on from April 1-16. 3. Easter Eggtravaganza at Selly Manor, Bournville
The museum is hosting eggcellent activities inspired by Peter Rabbit, Miss Tiggywinkle, Jeremy Fisher, and friends. You can explore the garden and join in on the egg hunt, get creative and create some cool Easter themed crafts and also play games in the garden. Plus you can visit the Tudor manor for dressing up, a family trail and lots of hands on experiences. This event runs from Monday 3rd - Friday 14th April, 10am-5pm (last entry at 3.30pm). 4. Magical Easter at Sandwell Valley Country Park
From 1st April 2023 - Mon 10th April 2023, you can join in on the Easter fun at Sandwell Valley and meet the Easter Bunny in his burrow for an extra special family experience. He will be handing out some chocolate gifts as well. There’s entertainment to keept the whole family involved with activities. And, don’t forget to join in the on Easter trail.
