Crufts 2024 gives you the chance to find out more about over 200 breeds of dog

If you love dogs, you won’t want to miss Crufts 2024, the world’s largest dog show, happening this March at the NEC Birmingham. Hundreds of dogs from around the world will take part in the various challenges and events of the weekend.

Whilst many of the dogs will only be visible at long distance, whether on TV or from the stands, there will be opportunity to meet some of the pooches involved in this year’s event. These dogs will be at the Discover Dog section of Crufts.

According to Crufts, Discover Dogs, will host more than 200 breeds of pedigree dogs for you to meet. Talk to their knowledgeable owners and breeders to find out more about your favourite breeds.

Visitors can also gain first hand advice on grooming, training and whether the breed is right for you. You can be sure that it will lead you to your perfect companion!

Seven types of dog breeds will be on show at the Discover Dog Booth across the Crufts weekend, which in 2024 is 7 to 10 March. These categories are Gundog, Hound, Pastoral, Terrier, Toy, Utility and Working.

One of the breeds at Discover Dogs will be the Alaskan Malamute, known for its fluffy fur and vocal personality. Another breed on show in this area of Crufts is the often quiet Afghan Hound.
