Crufts 2023: Full list of previous Crufts winners including Primley Sceptre, Noways Chuckles and Bramshaw Bob

Crufts 2023 is just around the corner, and hundreds of dogs and their owners will be hoping to stand out at the prestigious event. A ‘Best in Show’ winner will be crowned in only the second event since the coronavirus pandemic.

This is a title which has been given to a dog at Crufts each year since the event has taken place in nearly a century. The first ever winner of this prestigious prize was Greyhound Primley Sceptre and owner Mr Herbert Whitley.

The competition was stopped between 1940 and 1947 due to the Second World War. The last two titles before the war, in 1938 and 1939, were both won by Cocker Spaniel Exquisite Model of Ware and owner Mr H.S Lloyd.

The last time Crufts didn’t take place was in 2021, this was due to the coronavirus pandemic. The title in 2022 went to Almanza Backseat Driver, a Flat Coated Retriever owned by Ms R & Mr P Ulin and Oware.
