Crufts 2023 takes place one again at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre this March. Hundreds of dogs from around the world will take part in the various challenges and events of the weekend.

Whilst many of the dogs will only be visible at long distance, whether on TV or from the stands, there will be opportunity to meet some of the pooches involved in this year’s event. These dogs will be at the Discover Dog section of Crufts.

According to Crufts, Discover Dogs, will host more than 200 breeds of pedigree dogs for you to meet. Talk to their knowledgeable owners and breeders to find out more about your favourite breeds.

Visitors can also gain first hand advice on grooming, training and whether the breed is right for you. You can be sure that it will lead you to your perfect companion!

Seven types of dog breed will be on show at the Discover Dog Booth across the Crufts weekend, which in 2023 is 9 to 12 March. These categories are Gundog, Hound, Pastoral, Terrier, Toy, Utility and Working.

One of the breeds at Discover Dogs will be the Alaskan Malamute, known for its fluffy fur and vocal personality. Another breed on show in this area of Crufts is the often quiet Afghan Hound.

Well over 200 breeds will be setting up shop in the Discover Dogs section of Crufts. To find out more about which breeds will be in attendance, visit the Crufts website.
