Bonfire Night 2021: The dazzling firework displays you won’t want to miss in Birmingham and beyond

After a damp and drizzly 2020 where lockdown well and truly rained on bonfire night, firework displays are making a comeback for 2021

The skies will be lighting up in November, with sparkling displays taking place across Birmingham and beyond.

And excitement is already brewing as this is the first time that we’ll be able to enjoy bonfire night since 2019.

Bonfire Night is returning to Birmingham and it’s going to be spectacular

Fireworks Spectacular and Fun Fair at Edgbaston Stadium

Always one of the most popular events in the city, Edgbaston Stadium’s Fireworks Spectacular and Fun Fair is back for 2021.

Set to be the biggest display yet, this family-friendly event will feature a funfair, face painting, balloon modellers and more.

Alongside what is sure to be a show-stopping display, you can also enjoy delicious food and drink from a variety of stalls.

The Fireworks Spectacular will take place on Saturday, November 6. Gates will open at 5.30pm, followed by the display at 7:45pm.

General admission tickets cost £13.50 per adult or £6 for under 16s. A family ticket (2 Adults and 2 U16’s) is priced at £31.

Sutton Coldfield Bonfire Night

Taking place a little later in the month, Sutton Coldfield bonfire night will light up the sky at Little Hay Miniature Railway on Saturday, November 13.

Gates open at 6pm, with the fireworks beginning at 7.30pm for a traditional display.

Refreshments will be on sale throughout the evening, and there will also be the chance to enjoy unlimited train rides.

It’s worth noting that this is a ticket only event that must be pre-booked before attending.

Here’s your chance to celebrate Bonfire Night once more in Birmingham

Solihull Bonfire Night

Featuring live music, delicious food and a spellbound firework display, Solihull’s Bonfire Night is set to be a great night out for everyone to enjoy.

Whether you live in the area or are further afield, you can join in the fun on Saturday, November 6 at Tudor Grange Park.

Tickets are priced from £6 if you arrive before 6pm. VIP tickets are also available, which include food, a free bar, a heated VIP tent and a private viewing area.

The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, with the firework display starting at 7.30pm.

Himley Hall Bonfire and Fireworks

Roll up, roll up, the circus is coming to town!

Himley Hall has teamed up with Jewson to put on the ultimate bonfire night with a spectacular circus theme.

Taking place on Saturday, November 6, the grounds of Himley Hall, in Dudley, will be transformed with a visual tribute to the circus.

Ahead of the fireworks, you can enjoy thrilling performances including acrobats, tightrope walkers, trapeze artists, jugglers and clowns.

There will also be a night market with street entertainers, and if you’re feeling peckish, you can indulge in delicious food before hopping on fairground rides.

Tickets cost £10 per adult, £24 for a family (two adults aged 16 + and two juniors aged five to 15). VIP packages are also available.

Drayton Manor Firework Spectacular

Drayton Manor’s Firework Spectacular is back with a bang this year!

This year’s BRIT’tastic event will run on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October, where ticket holders can enjoy everything that the park has to offer, from its exciting rides to its 15acre zoo and so much more.

As the sun sets, the park will bring its season to a close with a dazzling British firework display that’s sure to leave you ooo-ing and ahhh-ing.

There will also be the chance to experience the rides in the dark for the ultimate thrill.

Tickets are available online now and cost between £15 to £35 when pre-booked or £15 to £42 on the day.

Weston Park Bonfire & Fireworks

Prepared to be wowed as Weston Park’s popular bonfire night is back - and it’s bigger and better than ever before.

One of the biggest displays in the region, the Staffordshire venue will be hosting its display on Sunday, November 7.

The bonfire will be lit at 5pm, followed by two dazzling firework displays, taking place at 6pm and 7.30pm.

Gates open at 3pm and ticket holders can enjoy a range of activities including a fun fair, as well as enjoying tasty street food.

Early bird tickets cost £20 per car (up to six people) and £25 on the day.

Alton Towers Ultimate Fireworks Spectacular

Alton Towers is well-known for putting on an incredible show for its firework display.

This year is set to make your jaw drop as the park’s astonishing display lights up the grounds.

Held on November 5 - 7, the Ultimate Fireworks Spectacular will be the final chance to enjoy the park’s thrilling rides and experiences before it closes for the season.

More than just explosive fireworks, the display will also feature music, lights and live-action storytelling to create the most immersive experience.

As well as enjoying the rides, you’ll also be able to fill your boots with tasty food and drink throughout the evening.
