Pitcher & Piano’s Birmingham Brindleyplace venue has invested more than £800,000 on a stunning refurbishment for one of Birmingham’s best known bars. The vene over the water’s edge has got a brand new look with a complete overhall of the interiors - just like it’s neighbour All Bar One!

The latest pictures of the revamped P&P have been released to BirminghamWorld following a glitzy party to celebrate the new look - and, as you can see, it’s pretty amazing! The ground floor of the Birmingham bar now has a fluted bar front, a new colour palette for seating and mid-height booths with table lamps to create a cozy vibe.

Decorative elements include a double-sided light bulb wall and a full height green wall with an illuminated ‘&’. On the lower ground floor, herringbone wood panelling will be added to some areas, and a photo booth will be installed.

Will there be more seats available at the Pitcher & Piano after the refurbishment?

With the refurbishment, the venue’s covers grow to 168, including canal-side tables. The exterior area on the ground and lower ground floors have an al fresco space to make the outdoor space feel like an extension of the internal.

It is edged with box hedges and festoon lights. There is also a private dining space that can be booked for drinks occasions and celebrations.

The bar offers fresh food alongside bottomless brunches, and a range of classic, house and sharing cocktails and a premium range of spirits, wines, beers and soft drinks.

What has the Pitcher & Piano said about the refurbishment in their own words?

Geoff Webber, Director of Operations at Pitcher & Piano, said: “As a brand that has been bringing fun to the high street for over 30 years, we are always looking at new ways to remain relevant in a challenging and ever-changing environment. Following the success of our recently refurbed Pitcher & Piano in Taunton, we saw this as a great opportunity to invest over £800k into the venue to further the success of our flagship bar in Birmingham.

About the interiors, Webber said: “The interior of the bar has received a full overhaul! We’ve enhanced the guest experience by refreshing the bar’s colour palette and furnishings, as well as increasing the bar area.

“We’ve now created designated areas that are dependent on your reason to visit, so whether guests are looking to hire private event space, join us for lunch or dinner, or to try our amazing cocktails, draught, and wine, we now have a space suitable to them.”

The restaurant is the perfect place to visit no matter the hour. “Whether it’s bubbles over brunch, after-work drinks, or a night to remember, our food and drink menus have been carefully crafted to take you from day to night, always bringing you something wonderfully unique,” said Webber.
