Why Mr.Egg is a Brummie legend
Mr. Egg was the perfect late-night eatery that would be open in Birmingham City Centre after the clubs closed for the night. Locals remember the place fondly for the many meals they’d have eaten there after a party-night.
The cafe was often visited by those who would stumble out of The Dome or Snobs and craved a “cracking meal”.
It is so iconic that it was drawn on to the walls of Grand Central Station. You can also buy the artwork here.
