Birmingham's summer plans just got way more exciting with its own beach and funfair back for 2024

This summer, Birmingham is set to welcome back its popular Beach and Funfair.

The event is organised by Danter Attractions, known for their Christmas Big Wheel and Ice Skate Birmingham in Centenary Square, and Christmas in Cathedral Square.

Located in Smithfields, the free summer event offers a sandy beach complete with deckchairs, a variety of rides, a bar, and a splash pool.

Visitors can look forward to an array of food vendors offering sweet treats, a slush zone, coffee, and more. Perfectly timed for the school holidays, running from July 19 to August 26. In addition to the beach and funfair, there will be games with exciting prizes, inflatables, bungee trampolines, and beach buggies.

To get to the Birmingham Beach and Funfair, head to Smithfields, Birmingham B5 6HX. Parking is available at the Arcadian car park, or you can take a train to Moor Street Station.
