A new group of female small business owners will host exciting pop-up shops in Primark’s Birmingham High Street store this weekend - offering a range of beauty products, accessories and jewellery.

The two new retail pop-ups will open from today (Thursday, March 21) and run until Sunday (March 24) as part of a five-week series at the store.

The pop-ups that Primark shoppers can enjoy this weekend include Ava’s Bindi Box, offering an opportunity to create Bindi designs and accessories during Eid and Ramadan, and Kanzan Skincare, which offers natural skincare products tailored to acne-prone, congested skin.

Primark representatives have told BirmignhamWorld how the bespoke pop-up experiences are part of the fashion brand’s commitment to supporting the UK high street - with many of the small businesses selected to help female entrepreneurship thrive in the local community. Each weekend Primark is hosting two different businesses from Thursday to Sunday in store, ending on Sunday 7 April.

Whereabouts in the World’s biggest Primark store in Birmingham will I find the pop-up shops?

Local shoppers can find these pop-up experiences on the second floor of the biggest Primark store in the world in Birmingham. Previous entrepreneurs hosted at Primark’s Birmingham store have included statement jewellery businesses Opheara and She Is Jewellery, as well as colourful card company that celebrates culture, Street Greets.

Who is Primark working with the facilitate the pop-up businesses instore?

The Great Brand Exchange is working with Primark for five weeks from March to April to support female-run small business owners in the Birmingham Primark store,a long with the Primark in Newcastle. Primark customers can visit the pop-ups during regular shopping hours, from 08:00-21:00 Thursday to Saturday and 10:30-17:00 on Sundays.

Via the membership brands can also access recommended suppliers and attend live webinars by industry experts to help grow their business.”
