After a year away due to the pandemic Birmingham Pride returned the streets of Birmingham louder than prouder than ever.
Thousands joined the celebration of unity with the city’s LGBTQ+ community, fighting discrimination, stigma and help.

Hide AdAnd plans are afoot for next year - which will mark 20 years of Birmingham Pride.
The Birmingham Pride festival will be returning on Saturday and Sunday September 24 and 25.
Early bird loyalty tickets are currently on sale until Wednesday, October 6.
Birmingham Pride 2021 featured some fabulous stars including Sophie Ellis Bextor, Sister Sledge and Baga Chipz.

Hide AdThe parade was a magnificent spectacle as it weaved its way around the city.
It also saw the exciting announcement of plans for the Birmingham AIDS and HIV Memorial (BAHM) with thousands of pounds already raised.
The sculpture is designed by Birmingham artist Luke Perry with BAHM team leaders Garry Jones, Andrew King and Phil Oldershaw. It is due to be completed in June in time for the Commonwealth Games which start on July 28.
