I have been going to The Arcadian for seven years and I can guarantee a fun filled night for anyone and everyone - from a wild night out to a chilled evening comedy show this is the place for you!
The Arcadian, which sits right next to Chinatown and Birmingham Hippodrome is home to fantastic instagrammable looking bars, late night restaurants and some of the best nightclubs in Birmingham.
Sometimes it gets overshadowed by Broad Street, Brindleyplace and Bennetts Hill - but it’s so worth a visit.
The open air multi-tiered piazza has been around since the late 80’s and has kept on evolving with the times, which is why it’s still one of the most loved areas in Birmingham City centre.
With the weekend here, a third and final bank holiday of May coming and summer on the way, you may want to consider exploring The Arcadian for a night out. Here’s nine reasons why:

1. Glee Club
You can begin your night having a laugh with your friends at the award winning venue - Glee Club, there is always something going on every weekend. Staging regular stand-up nights and often putting on intimate music shows. Go to glee.co.uk/birmingham/ to check out what’s on this month. | Google Maps

2. Mythos
Mythos is a cutesy Mamma Mia feeling Greek restaurant, offering small plates & wines. Located just opposite the Hippodrome, the restaurant has a beautiful outside heated terrace - where you can sit and watch the nightlife go by while indulging in authentic Greek dishes. | Mythos

3. Miyako
Miyako Teppanyaki is personally my favourite place, which was actually Birmingham's first Japanese restaurant. Specialising in Teppanyaki, this immersive restaurant is amazing for birthdays, celebrations or even just date night. Your food is prepped and cooked in front of you on the grill. I was always told never to play with food, but at Miyako the rules go out the window - with big flames and games to play, a night here is never a dull one. | Miyako

4. Tmrw Bar
Tmrw Bar, which even though it's a new addition to The Arcadian, the venue has become really popular in just under a month. In the kitchen of Tmrw Bar is Celebrity Chef, Chef Kano of Jointz TV, serving beautiful Pan Asian food. The jungle themed decor and neon lighting really sets the tone when the DJ’s arrive to bring the party vibes throughout the night. | Tmrw Bar
