This Halloween, indulge in some creepy spooktacular fun at family-friendly and 18+ events in and around Birmingham. Several venues will transform for several nights to give Brummies and visitors the fright of their lives.
There are several children-friendly events at CadburyWorld, LEGOLand, Sea Life and other venues in the city. You can make a day trip out of Halloween fun with visits to Warwick Castle, Alton Towers Resort and the Black Country Living Museum.
For adults, there is an incredible scare maze in Digbeth as well as a block party on the spookiest nights of the year in the heart of the city. So, be prepared with your Halloween costumes for days of frightful fun in and around Birmingham. Here are 22 spooktacular events in and around Birmingham this Halloween:
1. Spooky fun at Sea Life
Guests are invited to explore all the chills and thrills of the ocean as they follow an immersive trail to help the Sea Witch and Warlock look after their ocean home and fellow sea creatures by completing magical challenges throughout the aquarium. There will be an excitingly eerie trail for visitors to enjoy, and guests will also be able to meet the Sea Witch or Warlock, tackle visual games and activities and receive a reward for completing the spook-splash-tic challenges. 2. The Night Owl
On quite possibly the spookiest day of the year (Friday, October 13th!) Back of the Bar presents an all-star
lineup of local talent with Eighty Eight Miles headlining The Night Owl for an 80s-inspired indie rock
party! Support on the night comes from Genevieve Miles, Leah Wilcox and Feelings Mutual plus you
can expect spooktacular DJ sets from rising stars Overpass and Quentin Francis as it leads into iconic
disco club night Voulez Vous. Drinks deals are available on the night too. Fancy dress is heavily encouraged, but not mandatory! You can also join a B-movies themed Halloween Party on Friday

3. Halloween comes to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre
There will be two awesome rides, lots of LEGO® build & play zones and a bewitching soft play area this Halloween. Guests are invited to step into haunted MINILAND for a spooky scavenger hunt, help build LEGO® pumpkins to add to the spooky monster garden and check out the LEGO® 4D Halloween movie ‘The Great Monster Chase!’ Kids can also meet LEGOLAND Discovery Centre mascot Scarecrow as they join him for a Halloween dance party and photo opportunity. 4. Spooky Welly Walk returns to Cannon Hill Park
Spooky Welly Walk is back on Saturday 28th October, conjuring up fangtastic fun for all the family. Ideal for children aged 3-8, your little monsters will have the chance to ditch the screens and enjoy a wide range of Halloween-themed activities dotted throughout Cannon Hill Park, such as the bugfest beauty parlour, creepy crafts, spooky story time and slime making. Many of the activities are included in the ticket price. Tickets cost £6 each or £20 for a family of four, with under 2s going free.
