Manuel has now shown off the look he hopes will wow judges at the finals by donning a Colin Firth-style Kingsman suit and bowler hat.

Manuel, who has been in the British Army since he was 16, became the first serving soldier to be named Mr England in August.

He has served King Charles and attended the Queen's funeral and is currently dating reigning Miss England and lifeguard Milla Magee.

Manuel and Milla - dubbed the 'Cornish Pamela Anderson '- are the first contestants in the pageant's history to become at item.

He said: "I love my job, I have covered monumental events such as Queen Elizabeth II's funeral and the coronation of King Charles.
