1. Birmingham Back to Backs - National Trust
Step back in time at these restored 19th-century houses. Managed by the National Trust, they offer a glimpse into the lives of Birmingham’s working-class families. Winner of the Traveller's Choice Award by Tripadvisor, it is also ranked as top budget-friendly day out in Brum. National Trust members go free, a family ticket costs around £22 pounds. | Flickr

2. Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery -

3. Library of Birmingham

4. Winterbourne House & Gardens
Located in Edgbaston, Winterbourne House is a historic Edwardian property with gorgeous 7-acre gardens maintained by the University of Birmingham.
