It's summer holiday season. While many of us may struggle to travel too far this year because of the cost of living crisis, you needn't worry because there are ample opportunities to get that experience at home, as Birmingham brings a whole host of beach experiences here to the city.

Birmingham Beach

First up there's Birmingham Beach 2023. Over 500 tonnes of sand has been shipped into the site on Pershore Road. There's water features, slides and rides to really bring that British summer holiday experience into the heart of England. It opens on the 14th July midday.

Northfield-on-sea

Similar vibe in Northfield - at Prices Square from the 24th July until the 28th the seaside will be brought into the town. Complete with sand, deckchairs, arts and crafts, face painting and more Northfield Beach be a perfect holiday experience for those wanting who can't travel out too far this year.

Costa-Del-Solihull

Last but not least, Touchwood is bringing the Costa Del Sol to Solihull. From the 22nd July to the 3rd September, there'll be a free Solihull beach hosting a range of family activities and entertainment. So grab your buckets and spades, pull up your deckchairs and enjoy some family days in the sun.
