Scottish heavyweight rockers Biffy Clyro have announced a huge UK tour for the autumn.

Fresh off the back of a sensational performance headlining the final day of Download Festival 2022, the Glaswegian band will play eight dates in UK and Ireland.

Ahead of tickets going on sale, here’s all you need to know about the Birmingham gig, including how to get tickets, where Biffy Clyro will play in Birmingham, and who is set to support them on tour.

Biffy Clyro are due to perform at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on Friday, 11 November 2022.

This will be the fifth date of the band’s November tour.

Where else are Biffy Clyro touring?

The Birmingham gig is one of eight Biffy Clyro have planned for their November tour.

The tour kicks off in Leeds on 5 November, and is set to come to an end with a show in Bournemouth on 15 November.

Below is the full UK and Ireland tour dates, including the Birmingham show.

5 November – First Direct Arena, Leeds

6 November – OVO Hydro, Glasgow

8 November – 3Arena, Dublin

9 November – SSE Arena, Belfast

11November – Resorts World Arena, Birmingham

12 November – The O2, London

14 November – Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff

15 November –International Centre, Bournemouth

How can I get tickets?

Tickets for the UK and Ireland dates are set to go on sale at 9am on Friday, 24 June.

Tickets will be made available through Live Nation.

According to the Resorts World Arena website, tickets will start at £35.90 and also be available for £47.20 and £58.50.

The price of all tickets include a service fee and £2 facility fee. A £2.95 admin fee applies + £1 postage fee.

Biffy Clyro headlined the main stage on the third and final day of Download Festival 2022, and earned huge plaudits for their performance.

Their second time topping the bill at Donnington, they once again proved themselves as top tier headliners filling their set with material from 2020’s ‘A Celebration Of Endings’, 2021’s ‘The Myth Of The Happily Ever After’ and a host of huge tracks from their extensive catalogue.

Rumours of an arena tour were alluded to, and the festival performance would have had fans pleading for some tour information.

Just eight days after the Download 2022 set, fans got what they were wishing for and a UK and Ireland tour was announced.

Who is the support act?

Heading out on tour with Biffy Clyro this autumn are British metalcore band Architects.

Originally formed in Brighton, the band has released no fewer than nine studio albums, including their newest record For Those That Wish to Exist which was released in 2021.

What have Biffy Clyro said about the tour?

Following the tour announcement, Biffy Clyro said: "It’s been way too long... we are so excited to announce our tour of UK/Ireland this November and over the moon to have Architects join us on what is going to be a very special tour. You will not want to miss it”.
