Hide AdKatherine Ryan finally managed to actually get into the studio after four failed attempts which saw Katherine float down Digbeth canal when the show barge became untethered, get her hair caught in the barge doors, get arrested and then pushed in the canal by an overeager fan.
She finally reached the studio by navigating an assault-course like assortment of obstacles. However, by the time she sat down on the sofa she’d taken too long and Joe had to go to a commercial break.
She joined Joe Lycett as he reprised his role as right wing TV anchor Richard Yewtree. However, halfway through, Richard was fired live on air and replaced by Kathy Yewtree, leading him to read off the autocue, following in the footsteps of previous guests, Alan Carr, Greg James, Joel Dommett and Rob Delaney who have all joined Richard as a co-host.
Meanwhile, Linda Biscuits - the dog that has been a key member of crew throughout the series - ascended the ranks to become presenter of the show.

Comedian Rosie Jones spoke about appearing in Vogue - and then proceeded to do a photoshoot for Lycett’s “magazine”.
Jones said: “When I was at Vogue, there were 100 people. Someone said, “What do you think of Valentino? And I went, ‘Who?!’” Joe then asked Richard and Rosie to do a photoshoot for his own magazine called, ‘Jogue’.
Richard talks about how he wears two watches, one which represents Swaziland and the other England.
Joe then revealed a wristful of watches, with him saying: “This is Dubai time for where Lisa Scott Lee lives, this a stopwatch counting down to the next series of The Last Leg, this is a Doomsday clock counting down my career and this is the time at Auntie Pauline’s and it actually shows the same time, but if you go round, the decor is 30 years old.”
To which Auntie Pauline responds with a shocked expression.
