Christmas in Cathedral Square includes over 40 craft, gift, food and drinks stalls, as well as over 150 light features, all provided by local businesses, producers and craftspeople. No wonder Birmingham has been named as the most Christmassy city in the UK (with Glasgow!).

Dazzling and delightful Death Drop camp comedy at The Alex

If the sound of “dazzling and delightful camp comedy” appeals to you, the West End hit Death Drop is currently playing at the Alexandra Theatre here in Birmingham, which includes a cast of leading well known drag performers from across the world.

The SHOUT festival

The SHOUT festival is currently taking place here in Birmingham, which aims to amplify the voices of those in the LGBTQ+ community from across the region. This includes a series of performances, exhibitions, workshops and talks across the city centre as well as online. One of these events is the Vogue Ball, presented by the House of Ghetto, which will be playing at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

This year we see the return of the Ice Skating Rink in Centenary Square, Birmingham. The weatherproof ice rink is 600 square metres, open daily between 10am to 10pm.

Skaters can expect a skate session of around 45 minutes, underneath colourful Christmas lights, plenty of catchy Christmas Classics and an atmosphere that is sure to get people into that Christmas spirit,
