Thousands of festival goers were treated to two days of great music over the weekend at the Solihull Summer Festival.
The event, which took place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July at Tudor Grange Park, saw brilliant performances from the likes of Shaggy, Sister Sledge, Boyzlife, Billy Ocean and Bad Manners.
In addition, the new Soul stage featured performances from Kenny Thomas and Trevor Nelson headlining, along with a host of other DJs.
Despite significant operating cost rises for the independent event organisers at the festival, Solihull Summer Fest decided not to increase their ticket prices due to the Cost of Living crisis, and offered discounts so attendees could celebrate the summer despite current inflation.
Festival organiser Ian Rogers said: “We always offer our local residents a 15% discount on full price tickets, but this year we recognised the challenges that many people are facing. We wanted to increase the discount to help the local community attend Solihull Summer Fest, have fun and soak up the festival atmosphere.”
Here are 20 brilliant photos from the event. Here’s to next year!
