Birmingham City will take on Peterborough United at Wembley this Sunday

The club has confirmed that all coaches will depart from the National Exhibition Centre (Marston Green, Birmingham B40 1NT).

This is due to the high number of coaches required for the final, making it unsafe and operationally unfeasible for coaches to depart from St. Andrew's.

A statement from the club, read: “We recognise that this will cause some inconvenience to a small number of supporters and want to stress that this decision was not taken lightly. It was decided based on extensive consultation with the Transport for West Midlands (TFWM), the police and the relevant rail companies.”

To help supporters with their travel arrangements to the NEC, the club has outlined different ways to reach the venue. Upon arrival, club staff will assist supporters in boarding the coaches, which will depart between 8.30am - 10am. Getting to the NEC via Bus Several bus services run directly to the NEC from different locations.

  • From Birmingham Moor Street, supporters can catch the X1 bus service from Birmingham Moor Street, starting at 6.05am. Each journey takes approximately 30 minutes, with buses running every 30 minutes from 6.45am.
  • From Coventry Pool Meadow, supporters can use the X1 bus service, starting at 5.39am. The journey takes around 65 minutes, with buses departing every 30 minutes.
  • From Priory Queensway, supporters can use the X12 bus service, starting at 6.05am. The journey takes around 50 minutes, with buses running every 45 minutes from 6.45am.
  • From Solihull Rail Station, supporters can use the X12 bus service, starting at 6.25am. The journey takes around 50 minutes, with buses running every 55 minutes.
  • From Carr's Lane, supporters can use the X12 bus service, starting at 6.05am. The journey takes around 50 minutes, with buses running every 55 minutes from 7.05am.
