Police incident causes major delays for Birmingham motorists and bus users

Birmingham's Trinity and Birchfield Roads are blocked in both directions due to a police incident. National Express buses are on diversion, leading to significant delays for both motorists and bus users. More updates to follow.
The road is blocked in both directions via Trinity Road and Birchfield Road as of 6.12am on Tuesday (29).
National Express bus services 7, 33, 51, X51 will operate on Birchfield Road through the underpass towards Birmingham.
A spokesman for National Express said: “Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
