National Express is introducing new and improved services to and from Birmingham, connecting the city with London, Heathrow, and major cities across Yorkshire

National Express is introducing a series of new and enhanced services connecting Birmingham with the North and London.

Ahead of the summer holidays, the coach operator has introduced a new daily 466 service connecting Birmingham Airport with London and major cities across Yorkshire.

The 466 service operates between Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby, Birmingham Airport, Heathrow Airport and London.

National Express will also increase the number of daily 131 coach services between Birmingham and Yorkshire from Friday 17th May, with a new early morning and new early evening journey.

What’s been said about the new route?

From May 17:

  • 170: revised daily services between Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds - introducing Warrington (Hulme) to the network and also serving Manchester Airport

  • 171: revised daily services between Liverpool, Manchester, Bradford and Leeds - also serving Warrington (Hulme) and Manchester Airport

From May 24:

  • 460: revised daily services between Rugby, Coventry, Heathrow Airport and London - with more journeys to and from Heathrow Airport, while also reintroducing Leamington Spa and Banbury to the network

From 31st May:

  • 465: revised daily overnight service between Yorkshire, East Midlands and London - also introducing Loughborough

Customers can expect a safe and comfortable experience on board, with leather reclining seats, free Wi-Fi, USB power sockets and a generous luggage allowance of up to 20kg.
