Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham is steeped in history having been called a “national treasure” by Historic England. The area has the most extensive surviving group of Victorian and 20th-century buildings connected to the manufacture of jewellery and similar small goods in Europe.
It may not be a purely industrial neighbourhood anymore but its unique character remains till today. It still has a thriving jewellery industry and is also a space for hospitality and creative industry.

4. Shop for jewellery shop
Shopping for jewellery in Jewellery Quarter is a no brainer. The area is a major centre of gold jewellery production and has the world’s largest Assay Office, which hallmarks around 12 million items a year.
