Video shows huge ‘embarrassing’ queues looping around the entrance of Birmingham Airport this morning (June 14).
Posting the video on X, Express and Star football writer Liam Keen said: “Absolutely embarrassing from @bhx_official with this queue to even get inside the building at 4am.”
The long queues have reportedly formed due to confusion over 100ml liquid rules. In a U-turn, the Government has temporarily brought back the rule of passengers not being able to fly with liquids of over 100ml in their hand luggage.
Airline EasyJet has advised travellers to arrive an extra hour early for their flights. Writing on June 9, EasyJet said: “We recommend arriving at the airport three hours or at least two hours before your flight to account for potential delays and facilitate check-in.”
