Birmingham City fans held a third protest against the club’s owners on Friday night (4 February).
Hundreds of fans once again marched from the Bull Ring Tavern in the city centre up to St Andrew’s, and gathered outside the Kop and ticket office before kick-off to protest against Birmingham Sports Holdings Ltd (BSHL) before their side’s 2-1 defeat against Sheffield United.

This was the third protest in the last three matches at St Andrew’s, with supporters saying they are unhappy with how the club is being run.
Uncertainty over who actually owns the club, the state of their St Andrew’s ground -part of which has been closed for more than a year due to structural issues - and increasing financial losses have all been used in protest at the owners in recent weeks.
BirminghamWorld spoke with supporters prior to kick-off to get their thoughts on the Blues hierarchy and what impact the current protests are having. You can see their comments in the video at the top of our story.
