West Brom confirm sale of young striker
The forward spent three seasons with the Baggies.
Albion have confirmed the sale of striker Eseosa Sule to St Mirren.
The 20-year-old has returned to his native Scotland, three years after joining the Baggies from Celtic.
Sule was a regular for Albion’s under-21s during his time at The Hawthorns but made only two first-team appearances, the most recent of which came in April’s 0-0 draw with Millwall.
He joined Motherwell on loan last season but again saw his chances limited due a serious thigh injury.
With the Baggies having already bolstered their attacking ranks this summer with the signings of Barney Stewart and Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Sule is being allowed to make a permanent exit.
St Mirren are expected to pay only a nominal fee but the deal does include a sell-on clause.
Sule, who was born in Glasgow, has agreed a two-year deal with the Scottish Premiership club.
A statement on Albion’s official website confirming the move, read: “Everyone at the club would like to thank Eseosa for his efforts in blue and white, and wish him the very best of luck in his future career.”
