‘Bold’ midfield change as Gary O’Neil drops £15m starlet - Wolves predicted XI vs Newcastle - gallery

Here’s how we predict Wolverhampton Wanderers to line up against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be keen to continue their fine run of form as they welcome Champions League outfit Newcastle United to Molineux on Saturday evening. Gary O’Neil’s side are on a four-match unbeaten streak and are up to 12th in the Premier League following a hard-fought comeback victory at AFC Bournemouth last weekend.

It was a particularly satisfying win for O’Neil as he got one over his old employers, who controversially sacked him ahead of the summer transfer window. Now, though, a much tougher challenge awaits as Newcastle come to town. Eddie Howe’s team, with four wins in their last five league matches, are in rather relentless form.

Wolves will be wary of the Magpies’ threat and are likely to pack as many of their experienced players into their lineup as possible while adding a bit of flair and creativity to cause problems on the counter-attack. With that in mind, here are the 11 players we think will start against the Toon, including one surprise inclusion in midfield.
