Wolves are back in action this weekend as they return from the international break, and they face a huge task in their bid to land a second win.
Gary O’Neil’s men face Liverpool at home, and the Reds have been in superb form to start the season, winning three of their four games and drawing the other. Fortunately for Wolves, they are in pretty good nick as far as injuries are concerned, while Liverpool have a number of concerns and a key suspension heading to Molineux.
With that in mind, we have rounded up all the injuries and suspensions at both clubs ahead of Saturday’s lunchtime clash.
1. Tommy Doyle (Fit)
New loan signing Tommy Doyle is back fit after a recent injury.
2. Joe Hodge
Wolves will be without Hodge, who is sidelined with a thigh issue.
3. Darwin Nunez (Doubt)
Nunez should be fine to start, but Marcelo Bielsa detailed that the forward had to substituted for Uruguay at half-time in their most recent outing due to arriving for international duty ‘limited’ with a minor muscular injury.
4. Thiago Alcantara (Doubt)
Thiago is listed as a doubt, but he is almost certain to miss out as he gets closer to match fitness following injury.
