Wolverhampton Wanderers play host to Everton on Saturday afternoon for their final Premier League home match of the season. Already home and dry as far as their English top-tier status is concerned, Julen Lopetegui’s side can lap up the Molineux atmosphere for one last time as a successful redemption campaign comes to a close.
The same cannot be said for Everton, however, as they are very much still in the fight to avoid relegation and will be desperate for three points this weekend. The Toffees managed a surprise 5-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion just one week after Wolves lost 6-0 to the same opposition, but they remain in a very dangerous situation.
Sean Dyche’s men will make a tough opponent for that reason but Wanderers do have the upper hand when it comes to the injury news. With just two players ruled out and one doubtful, Lopetegui has plenty of freedom for his team selection. Everton, meanwhile, have five definitely sidelined and two doubts. Here’s a run-through.

9. Ruben Vinagre - ruled out
Formerly of Wolves, the full-back has had a torrid time with injuries and that has continued. He may need surgery, Dyche admitted recently. | Getty Images for Bursty

10. Dele Alli - ruled out
Once one of the most exciting young players in the Premier League, Dele’s career has dropped off and as have his fitness levels. He’s building up for a potential return next campaign, but not this. | Getty Images

11. Ben Godfrey - ruled out
Another Toffee with a groin issue, Godfrey will probably be out for the last two games of the season. | Getty Images
