Elsewhere, another Wolves transfer target will undergo a medical at the club soon. The deal for the Brazilian is thought to be in the region of £15 million and he is set to arrive in the UK on Monday.

Gerard Deulofeu move hits rocks

Former Everton and Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu was reportedly a Wolves target - however, he has recently suffered an injury, which will prevent him from moving to another club (per Fabrizio Romano on Twitter).

Currently at Udinese, Deulofeu was ‘on the list’ for Wolves and Aston Villa, according to Romano. With this new revelation, if Wolves want to snap up a winger before the window shuts, they will need to explore other options.

Joao Gomes to complete Wolves medical

Joao Gomes is scheduled to complete a medical at Wolves on Monday, according to the Mail Online. The deal to sign the 21-year-old midfielder is thought to be around £15 million.

Joao Gomes currently plays for Flamengo in his native Brazil. He’s already made 59 league appearances for Rubro-Negro, despite his young age, racking up two assists in that time.
