Wolverhampton Wanderers are back in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a trip away to Nottingham Forest. Refreshed after the international break, Julen Lopetegui will be hoping his side can bounce back from the heavy 4-2 defeat to Leeds United that camed it.
The end of the season is fast approaching - with just 10 games for Wolves to play - but it is far from over with a mere four points separating 20th and 12th as it stands. It is one of the most hotly-contested relegation battles in Premier League history and Wanderers are well amongst it.
Saturday’s clash is a huge six-pointer with the result having ramifications for every team in the bottom nine. If Wolves win, they would move six points clear of the drop but a defeat could see them in serious danger with every team below them - bar Everton - having played fewer matches.
