Wolves predicted Premier League finish compared to Leeds, West Ham & Everton in relegation fight - gallery

A look at the new predicted Premier League table following Wolverhampton Wanderers’ improvement under Julen Lopetegui.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have shown a real improvement under new head coach Julen Lopetegui. There was yet another impressive display in the West Midlands derby at Villa Park on Wednesday as Daniel Podence opened the scoring in a 1-1 draw.

The Wanderers endured a rather woeful start to the season under Bruno Lage and they remain right in amongst it with a relegation battle beckoning, but Lopetegui has made a positive impact so far. The Spaniard has led his side out in three Premier League games to date, managing one win and a loss, as well as the sharing of points against Villa.

There is hope that with the squad of players available and through Lopetegui’s tactical awareness, Wolves can survive the drop. With that in mind, we have taken a look - from top to bottom - at the updated Premier League predicted table from FiveThirtyEight to see where the Wanderers are likely to finish.
