Wolverhampton Wanderers are back in action on Sunday afternoon as they head away to West Ham United in the Premier League. Gary O'Neil's side will be keen to bounce back after a disappointing 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest last weekend but it will be tricky as West Ham are in good form.
The Hammers suffered a shock 5-0 defeat to Fulham in their last Premier League outing but have otherwise been pretty relentless, winning seven of their last 10 games in all competitions. West Ham have been particularly strong on home soil, too, making it a daunting place to visit.
Wolves will have to be at their absolute best this weekend if they are going to get anything from the game, let alone all three points. We reckon O'Neil will make a couple of changes to give his side the best chance of a positive result. With that in mind, here's a full run-through of our predicted XI.
1. GK - Jose Sa
Sa was back in the lineup against Forest after a brief spell out. We fully expect him to start again, even despite Dan Bentley putting in a couple of strong shifts.
2. RWB - Matt Doherty
O’Neil doesn’t have an ideal situation at right wing-back as Nelson Semedo is seriously out of form defensively. Something needs to be done and Doherty coming in could freshen things up.
3. CB - Max Kilman
The skipper had an off day last time out but will be desperate to get back out there to redeem himself.
4. CB - Craig Dawson
Invaluable to Wolves due to his vast experience and leadership qualities. Also does a fine job in the air.
