Wolverhampton Wanderers return to home soil on Thursday evening as they play host to Manchester United in the Premier League.
The Old Gold are buoying with confidence following a famous 2-0 away win at bitter rivals West Bromwich Albion in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round. That result extended the unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions but Wolves must guard against complacency – especially against a talented United squad.
The Red Devils, who are eighth in the table and just three points above Wolves in the table, have struggled this season but they've still got the personnel to tear apart any team on their day. Gary O'Neil will be very aware of that fact and is likely to put out as strong of a starting lineup as possible.
Wolves can rather sensationally move into the top half with a win and as high as seventh if it's by a margin of two goals or more. Here's the starting lineup we think O'Neil will go with to try and give Wanderers the best chance of doing just that.
1. GK - Jose Sa
Sa had a bit of a wobble earlier in the season but has since regained his composure. He’s the number one choice ahead of Dan Bentley.
2. RWB - Nelson Semedo
Semedo is definitely the first choice right wing-back at the club, especially with injuries on the other flank.
3. CB - Max Kilman
The skipper has been superb this term, voicing his teammates from the back and putting in solid performances of his own.
4. CB - Craig Dawson
Dawson was exceptional in the win over West Brom and he simply has to start every game he’s fit for.
