Wolverhampton Wanderers head back out on the road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon as they travel south to face Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
Gary O’Neil’s side will be eager to put right their wrongs against the English top-tier newbies after a troublesome start to the 2023/24 season.
The Old Gold have earned just three points out of an available 15 so far and, having conceded 11 goals, are the holders of the second-worst defensive record in the division.
Keeping a clean sheet has to be a priority for Wolves but things going forward haven’t been ideal either. For that reason, we think there will be a slight mix-up to the 11.
Here are the players we reckon O’Neil will start on Saturday, as well as brief explanations for each inclusion.
1. GK - Jose Sa
Conceding plenty of goals but still ahead of Bentley in the pecking order.
2. RB - Nelson Semedo
Had a great game against Liverpool and deserves to stay in ahead of Doherty.
3. CB - Craig Dawson
Stays in the side ahead of Toti and Bueno with his experience key to Wolves.
4. CB - Max Kilman
Probably been the best defender so far this season and is likely to start every league game.
