Surprise attacking choice as Lopetegui ‘compensates regret’ - Wolves predicted lineup v Arsenal - gallery

Here’s what we predict Wolverhampton Wanderers’ starting lineup to look like against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in Premier League action for one final time this season as they take on Arsenal away from home on Sunday afternoon. With Wolves safe from relegation and the Gunners guaranteed second spot, both teams can play with freedom.

Wanderers so nearly earned a narrow 1-0 win over Everton in their final home game of the campaign last time out but suffered a 99th-minute equaliser from Yerry Mina. Arsenal, meanwhile, lost their second successive game as Nottingham Forest ran out 1-0 victors.

The last clash between the two sides saw Mikel Arteta’s men win 2-0 at Molineux but Julen Lopetegui wasn’t in charge at that stage. This is the first time the Spaniard has faced Arsenal since he was in charge of Sevilla for a pre-season friendly at the Emirates Stadium last July.

Lopetegui is likely to rotate to offer some previously out-of-favour players some game time and others the chance to say their farewells. With that in mind, here are the 11 players we think will start for the Old Gold on the final day.
