Nelson Semedo decision made as first start in 50 days for £13m star - Wolves predicted XI v Arsenal

Predicting Gary O’Neil’s Wolves lineup to take on Arsenal in the Premier League.

Wolves hope to pile more misery on to Arsenal by further denting their Premier League title bid when they meet at Molineux on Saturday.

The Gunners lost to Wolves' West Midlands rivals Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium at the weekend, which meant Manchester City remained top of the pile. Mikel Arteta's side were also eliminated from the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday with a Joshua Kimmich winning the tie.

Arsenal are only two points off of the Citizens but having suffered their first league defeat of the calendar year that a near perfect run is needed from now until mid-May. As for Wolves, despite early season predictions of relegation, they've hit the magic 40-point mark and there is now a possibility that they could finish in the top-half of the table.

Last time out for Wolves they drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest and had a few players missing. Pedro Neto is out until May with a hamstring injury whilst Rayan Ait-Nouri and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde were not involved. Craig Dawson is nursing a groin problem which might require surgery whilst Nelson Semedo had to be forced off in the latter stages of the game.

All of these issues make for a selection headache for Gary O’Neil. He will be tasked with naming a side that is capable of competing with Arsenal. Home supporters have been some big results already at home this season and despite what now seems a dead rubber for the hosts, will be an opportunity for players to finish off the season well.

Kick-off is at 7.30 pm on Saturday and so it’s a slightly longer wait compared to the traditional 3.00 pm, but that just allows for more time to discuss all things Wolves. It is being broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League.

In a 3-4-2-1 formation that has given results such as a 4-2 win over Chelsea, 2-1 over Spurs and 1-0 over Sheffield United, here is how BirminghamWorld thinks the team will look like when it’s announced at 6.30 pm.
