Wolves player ratings - 'Purring' 8/10 and 'silly' 4/10 in gutsy Brentford draw

Gary O'Neil won't relish another match in the calendar but will be proud of his Wolves side after a fighting performance.

Wolves fans will travel back to the Midlands in high spirits once again after another big performance against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Gary O'Neil's side didn't romp to the 4-1 victory they enjoyed last week but turned in a big shift after an early red card for midfielder Joao Gomes. Wolves bounced back from a first-half Neal Maupay goal and earned a replay at Molineux thanks to a sublime Tommy Doyle strike that had the away end buoyant.

While an extra match in the calendar may not be ideal, Wolves have got themselves in the FA Cup fourth-round draw and will fancy their chances in front of a home crowd against a struggling Brentford.
