Wolves were always going to be up against it as they provided the opposition for Jurgen Klopp’s final game in charge of Liverpool.
Anfield was a hive of emotion and pride as Gary O’Neil’s side aimed to disrupt the party - only to see their plans thrown into chaos justs before the half-hour mark when Nelson Semedo was shown a red card following a VAR review of his challenge on Alexis Mac Allister.
It was the Argentina international that inflicted a double punishment on Wolves when he fired Liverpool in front with ten minutes remaining in the first-half and a scrappy effort from young defender Jarell Quansah doubled the tally just before half-time.
That proved to be the end of the season as the home faithful focused on serenading Klopp during the final 45 minutes of his reign. For Wolves, it was a disappointing end to what has been a promising season - but how did their players fare at Anfield?
