Wolves have 'sealed' the appointment of Portuguese boss Vitor Pereira, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Gary O’Neil was only relieved of his duties on Sunday and Wolves haven’t bided their time in moving to appoint his successor. He was once a managerial candidate for Everton and was interviewed for the Goodison Park gig, but will now find himself competing with the Toffees in a relegation battle.

"Documents are being checked."
This is backed up by a report from the BBC's football news reporter Nick Mashiter. Pereira has agreed an 18-month deal at Molineux, and a fee of around €1 million has been paid to buy him out of his contract at Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab. Pereira was due to travel to England on Tuesday, and there isn't expected to be any late hitches after negotiations went smoothly.
The 56-year-old should find himself appointed in enough time to take charge of his first match against Leicester City which is on Sunday, December 22. A busy period awaits Pereira, who will oversee three matches in the space of eight days.
Wolves did look at other options which included former Everton and Manchester United boss David Moyes but it is Pereira who they have proceeded with.
