Wolves are reportedly keen on Middlesbrough ace Isaiah Jones. The wing-back is being linked with the Midlands outfit ahead of January.

TEAMtalk claim the Premier League side have ‘joined’ the race to land the Londoner. The likes of Crystal Palace, West Ham, Southampton and Leicester City have also been mentioned as potential suitors.

Wolves boss Jules Lopetegui has an opportunity to bolster his ranks in the next transfer window and put his own stamp on the squad ahead of a crucial second-half of the season. At the age of 23, Jones could be seen as a decent long-term option at Molinuex.

He joined Middlesbrough back in 2019 after catching the eye in non-league at Hampton and Richmond Borough and has since adapted well to the step up to the Football League. Boro loaned him out to Scottish pair St Johnstone and Queen of the South during his first couple of years to give him some experience and boost his development.

Jones has since become one of their most prized assets and has now made 67 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with four goals. His contract at the Riverside Stadium expires in the summer of 2025 meaning they are under no pressure to cash in on him just yet amid links to Wolves and other top flight teams.
