Wolves deliver £90m double transfer blow to Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United


Wolves are expected to keep hold of key duo Joao Gomes and Rayan Aït-Nouri amid transfer interest from the Premier League's top six.
It is being reported by talkSPORT that the club are confident of keeping Ait-Nouri and Gomes even if Pedro Neto does depart. Wolves are demanding a club record fee of £60m for Neto with Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Spurs all interested in the Portugal international.

Hide AdWolves however won't be in a selling mood this summer and aim to keep their first-choice left-back and midfielder at Molineux. Ait-Nouri is reportedly Man United's 'preferred' left-back choice this summer though they only have a budget of £35m, and will have to sell players if they are to raise funds to afford the Algeria international.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also said to be admirers with Jurgen Klopp instructing the Reds to sign him before he departed Anfield. In January it was reported that Wolves were demanding more than £50m plus for the 22-year-old.
Gomes has just completed his first full season at the club after joining in the January transfer window in 2022/23. He made 38 appearances in all competitions and the midfielder finished the season with two goals and an assist. Arsenal have been linked with a move for Gomes as well as Man United, who are also tracking Ait-Nouri, but as mentioned they will need to raise funds to be able to afford the pair.
The 23-year-old Brazilian midfielder said in a tweet on Monday: "I love being here."

In late-March, it was reported that Man United were plotting a move to sign Gomes, who they believed would be available for a fee of around £40m. Gomes however stated his desire to stay in the Midlands with his post, and with Wolves keen to keep hold of him and Ait-Nouri, then it will take sizeable offers to prize them away from the club this summer.
Gary O’Neil did admit that the club aren’t expecting to spend ‘millions’ this summer as they stay within the parameters of Financial Fair Play. A big money sale in the form of Neto could allow them to reinvest in the squad but a fire sale won’t be taking place.
